I'm Ivars Gmizo. I have spent fifteen-plus years architecting, shipping, and leading the engineering behind companies that grew up quietly, including years as CTO of ExpertPhotography. I work from Malta, remote-first, across EU and US time zones.
devil.services is my independent practice: MCP consulting, AI architecture, and fractional CTO advisory for B2B SaaS. The unusual part, for an advisor: I still write production code. The proof runs itself: Skapis, a remote MCP server with a self-hosted OAuth 2.1 layer that Claude connects to; auseklis and aisthesis, both open-source MCP servers; Ospite, an AI concierge platform for hospitality. Client work stays confidential, which is precisely why the products carry my name.
How I work is written down and short: NDA before the first call if you want it, a weekly written memo during every engagement, IP assigned to you on delivery, and an exit condition defined on day one. The first call is 45 minutes, free, and useful even if we never work together.
